1972

Established in 1972 by Jack Kleingartner, Certa Craft began as a two-man operation in downtown Indianapolis. Over the next two decades thanks to Jack's hard work, his own ingenuity and his reputation for quality and service, Certa Craft outgrew its original 1500 square foot location.

1991

Certa Craft moved to a much bigger facility, still it’s current location, in Whiteland, IN. Continued strategic investments in additional employees and machinery were made to improve manufacturing capabilities that kept Certa Craft on its upward growth trend.
 

2008

After 36 years in business, Jack retired, and Jesse Kernel acquired the business. Jesse, a graduate in Business from IUPUI, served in a 2 year apprenticeship program and was involved in all aspects of business operations before becoming the new owner.


Today

Jesse and the entire Certa Craft team remain dedicated to the service, quality and expertise that today's industries require. Jesse's vision is to continue to provide Certa Craft customers with the best in service while remaining true to the values he learned from Jack: Quality, Dependability and Precision.
